A late 18th Century English verge in gilt metal and underpainted horn pair cases.  Full plate fire gilt movement with round pillars.  Pierced and engraved masked cock, silver regulator disc. Fusee and chain.  Plain three arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring.  Domed white enamel dial with Roman numerals, gold arrow hands.  Plain gilt metal inner case.  The gilt outer case covered in translucent horn underpainted with ferns, gilt pique pins.
