| A late 18th Century Swiss verge in a gold and enamel consular case. Full plate gilt fusee movement. Finely pierced and engraved bridge cock with steel coqueret, plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Silver regulator dial with gilt indicator. Round pillars.
Wound through the signed white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, gold beetle and poker hands. Gold consular case decorated with fully restored polychrome enamel depicting a shepherdess and suitor. Framed in a dark blue enamel decorative border, repeated on the front bezel and rectangular pendant which is also marked with the number of the movement.
