| A mid 19th Century English independent seconds lever in a gold open face case. Gilt three quarter plate keywind movement with two going barrels. Engraved cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. English table roller lever escapement.
White enamel dial with continuous subsidiary seconds, independent centre seconds, beating seconds. Roman numerals, blue steel seconds hand, gold hands. Engine turned 18 carat open face case, small circular cartouche engraved with a lion above a crown. Wound and set through the gold cuvette engraved with a dedication dated 1869, maker's mark "AW" in an oval.
