plates. Plain three arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. White enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, arcaded minute ring, gold hands. Pair cases of 22 carat gold, plain inner with maker's mark "IW". The outer case decorated with chased and engraved repousse work in high relief, sections of it freestanding over a gold inner plate. The classical scene of two women giving bread to soldiers set within a rococo frame.
