Thomas Eastland,  London 1744 - 51.  The initials on the back of the case may by those of the owner's wife.  Watches with dials spelling out the owner's name are unusual and this is the first example we have seen which also includes the address.  No reference has been found to the original owner but a number of Wilkinsons are listed in Greenwich at 1840 under "Gentry and Clergy".
