Full plate gilt fusee movement decoratively engraved at the edge.
Pierced and engraved bridge cock with garnet endstone set in a polished
steel coqueret. Plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring.
Silver regulator dial with polished steel indicator. Pentagonal
baluster pillars. White enamel dial with polychrome scene at the centre
depicting a soldier courting a young lady. Roman and Arabic numerals,
cracked by the numeral "XI", decorative pierced gilt hands.
Silvered consular case with large central rotating shutter to the winding
aperture. Large protective outer case, silvered bezel and decorative
pique pins to the red tortoiseshell covering the back of the case. |
