Signed and numbered white enamel dial with subsidiaries for power reserve and seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Signed Chas Frodsham  - 84 Strand London   AD Fmsz 01375
Hallmarked London 1859

The use of a solid piece of sapphire for the impulse jewel is very rare.  Normally the roller is either polished steel or set with a jewel.  A fine example of an English pocket chronometer by Frodsham with this unusual feature.
