Plain open face gilt metal case with decorative chased and engraved middle.
SignedJoseph Dercha   in Sumegh   48
Circa 1800
Diameter 57 mm
A very rare watch.  This form of escapement is very uncommon and has been employed here with a very slow beat to show seconds together with the calendar work.  It appears to be signed by a Hungarian maker from the town of S meg which lies about 200 km southwest of Budapest.
