seconds, the seconds hand advancing one second at a time. Silver regulator dial with blue steel indicator. Four turned pillars. Rare dead beat verge escapement, the teeth formed so that the leading faces are curved. The verge staff made from two steel cylinders with a flat cut into them. The tips of the escape wheel rest on the surface of the cylinder until they fall onto the flat and gives impulse to the balance. Winding though the white
