White enamel dial unusually signed and numbered in the subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Substantial plain 18 carat open face case, recessed gold slide in the band, maker's mark "JW" in an oval. Signed gold cuvette with coat of arms and "Makers to the Royal Observatory".
