| A late 17th Century English mock pendulum verge in silver pair cases. Deep full plate fire gilt movement with pierced tulip pillars. Fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel setup between the plates. Pierced and engraved winged cock with semi-circular aperture to reveal the bob on one arm of
the two arm blue steel balance imitating the pendulum of a clock. Pierced and engraved foot and plate for the regulator square, the index visible below the balance. Plain steel balance, silver regulator disc. Signed silver dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, blue steel tulip and poker hands. Plain silver inner case with late gilt pendant, maker's mark "IPG" below a crown. Later repousse outer case depicting two soldiers meeting.
