An early 20th Century American lever in a gilt full hunter case.  Nickelled three quarter plate 19 jewel keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel micrometer regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring.  Club foot lever escapement.   Screwed in jewelling in gold settings.  Signed white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands.  Plain full hunter case, gold filled guaranteed to wear 10 years, marked "Illinois Watch Case Co.  Elgin U.S.A.".
