| A late 17th Century single handed mock pendulum verge bearing the signature Quare in silver pair cases. Deep full plate fire gilt movement with Egyptian pillars. Fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel setup between the plates. Engraved winged cock with semi-circular aperture to reveal the
bob on one arm of the two arm gilt balance imitating the pendulum of a clock. Pierced and engraved foot and plate for the silver regulator disc. Later signed one piece silver dial with engraved border inside the engraved gilt edge. Roman numerals, later single blue steel hand. Matching silver pair cases, split bezel, later pendant and bow, maker's mark "WE". Silver outer case with seven joint square hinge.
