| A rare late 19th Century double sided calendar in a gold full hunter case. Keyless nickelled bar movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator. Compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. White enamel dial with subsidiary seconds
and Roman numerals, gilt hands. The phase of the moon is indicated through an aperture in the centre of the dial on a blue steel and gold disc, marked at the edge 0 to 29«. The other calendar indications are on the other side of the watch under a sprung hunter cover. The days of the week and date shown by a gilt hands on a white enamel ring dial under a glazed cover. The date is changed automatically by a pawl on the movement which is visible though
the dial. Plain 18 carat gold full hunter case. The position of the bow determines which of the two covers is opened by depressing the crown.
