| An unusual late 18th Century Swiss cylinder with visible balance in a pearl set gold brooch watch. Small rectangular full plate gilt movement with canted corners. Keywound and set from the back with resting barrel, the regulator now lacking. Decorative six arm balance visible through an
aperture in the dial. Blue steel spiral hairspring hidden below the blue steel plate which acts a background to the balance. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals in a chapter set under the balance, blue steel hands. Rectangular gold case with canted corners, the bezel set with a row of split pearls. The back of the case fitted with a sprung pin to allow the watch to be worn as a brooch. The back hinges open to reveal the wining and set squares.
