| A late 19th Century German lever by Assman in a gold full hunter case. Gilt three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel micrometer regulator. Compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement, escape pivots with endstones. Signed silvered dial with subsidiary seconds, black Roman numerals, blue steel Breguet hands. Plain 14 carat full hunter case, gold cuvette, Assman's maker's mark of crossed hammers within a shield and number corresponding to that on the movement. | ||
