Signed white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Plain 18 carat half hunter case with blue enamel chapter ring, maker's mark "JWB" in an oval. The back with an engraved family crest , the motto "Fide Vitute et Labore" below. The gold cuvette engraved with a later dedication "Dudley - All my love - August 1950".
