| A small 18th Century Swiss verge in gilt pair cases, the outer from the mid 17th Century. Full plate fire gilt movement with square baluster pillars. Pierced and engraved cock, pierced and engraved foot and plate for the silver regulator disc. Plain three arm gilt balance, blue steel spiral hairspring.
Signed white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, gilt hands. Plain gilt metal inner case, number corresponding to that on the movement. The fine small gilt outer case originally for a mid 17th Century watch, covered in black leather and profusely decorated with gold pique pins.
