Index No. A6129 Commemorative Gold Coin Watch
A Swiss lever in a large gold coin commemorating the formation of the State of Israel mounted as a broach.  Small 18 jewel nickelled three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, uncut balance with spiral hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Signed gilt dial with blue steel hands.  The movement in an 18 carat cod case with signed clip on back which is concealed within a large gold coin commemorating the formation of the State of Israel.  On one side of the coin the head of Theodor Herzel.  On the other a tablet of 12 hieroglyphs probably representing the twelve Tribes  of Israel and the text "14 Mai 1948".  The coin set in a gold wire frame with a broach clip in the form of a bow.
