| A late 19th Century French carriage clcok with rare lever escapement. Lacquered brass eight day movement with large going barrel. Gilt platform with plain three arm steel balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Unusual lever escapement, the large thirty tooth escape wheel set to the side
and below the platform. Long lever arbor with large steel lever. Contrate wheel and pinion also offset to one side. Rectangular white enamel dial with Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Lacquered brass case glazed on all sides wide hinged glazed door. Glazed oval aperture to the top and folding brass handle.
