Fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel setup between the plates. Plain three arm steel balance, blue
steel spiral hairspring. Signed white enamel dial with arcaded minute ring, Roman and Arabic numerals, blue steel beetle hour hand, later minute hand. Fine gold pair cases, probably 22 carat, plain inner with gold pendant and stirrup bow. The outer of chased and engraved repousse work probably depicting Alexander the Great proposing to Roxana, the scene within a rococo border.
