| A late 19th Century English "farmer's verge" with polychrome enamel dial in silver pair cases. Full plate fusee movement with round pillars. Pierced and engraved round cock, steel regulator on top plate below the plain three arm steel balance. White enamel dial with a central polychrome scene depicting a farmer ploughing a field using two horses, a windmill, thatched cottage and lake in the background. Roman numerals, gilt hands. Silver pair cases, silver oval pendant and bow, the inner with maker's mark "PW" and number corresponding to that on the movement. The well fitting contemporary out without marks. | ||
