Plain cock with polished steel regulator, cut balance with white metal overcoil hairspring. English table roller lever escapement, the lever of non ferrous
metal. Screwed in jewelling. The movement protected by a gilt dust ring fitted leaving only the table of the cock exposed. Signed and numbered white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Plain silver half hunter case with black enamel chapter ring, gilt winding button. Maker's mark "SS" in a rectangle and number corresponding to that on the movement.
