Unusual white enamel dial, the numerals replaced by twelve gilt stars.  A heraldic blue shield with three black birds in a diagonal is painted above the motto "Toujours Propice", and below the centre the monogram "AL", gold hands. Matching plain silver pair cases, silver pendant and bow, maker's mark "AoN" in a rectangle. The outer contains a watchpaper from William Barton on Dungannon marked "Master Dauson - 8. 7. 53" on the reverse.  Also in the back two printed silk papers, one reading "The Glorious Memory - Limerick - Derry - Aughrim - Boyne - 1690" around a mounted rider and another with a portrait of W Carolan.
