| A rare early 19th Century Irish verge, the enamel dial with polychrome crest in silver pair cases with Irish watchpapers. Full plate fusee movement with round pillars. Bell shaped cock with engraved foot, blue steel regulator. Plain three arm polished steel balance. Unusual white enamel dial, the
numerals replaced by twelve gilt stars. A heraldic blue shield with three black birds in a diagonal is painted above the motto "Toujours Propice", and below the centre the monogram "AL", gold hands. Matching plain silver pair cases, silver pendant and bow, maker's mark "AoN" in a rectangle. The outer contains a watchpaper from William Barton on Dungannon marked "Master Dauson - 8. 7. 53" on the reverse.
Also in the back two printed silk papers, one reading "The Glorious Memory - Limerick - Derry - Aughrim - Boyne - 1690" around a mounted rider and another with a portrait of W Carolan.
