Index No. A5731 Breguet Ruby Cylinder Sourscription
A small early 19th Century ruby cylinder sourscription medaillion by Breguet.  Small gilt movement with central going barrel wound by a male key.  The single blue steel hand is a friction fit to the front of the barrel.  Plain cock with  polished steel parachute,  polished steel regulator adjusted via a lever to a slot in the dial..  Plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring.  Breguet suspended ruby cylinder escapement.  Signed engine turned silver dial with Roman numerals, the chapter with five minute divisions for the single blue steel hand set by a male key.  The slot for regulation of the watch at 6 o'clock.  Fitted into a plain silver display case glazed on both sides.
