| A good and very early example of a balance spring verge. See Watches by Clutton and Daniels illustration number 102 for a watch by Henricus Jones with a Barrow regulator and page 39 where the author notes that "Barrow's type is now extremely rare". (First published 1965). Also of interest in the same book is colour plate Iva which shows a tortoiseshell case with almost identical decoration. This is the first watch we have ben able to offer with this form of regulator. |
