Index No. A5612 Gold Freesprung Fusee Lever with up / down Dial
A 19th Century English freesprung fusee lever with power reserve indication in a gold open face case.  Gilt three quarter plate keywind movement with fusee and chain. Harrison's maintaining power.  Engraved cock with diamond endstone, compensation balance with freesprung blue steel overcoil hairspring. English table roller lever escapement.  Screwed in jewelling, escape and lever pivots with endstones.  White enamel dial with subsidiaries for seconds and power reserve, Roman numerals, blue steel and gold hands. Plain 18 carat open face case, wound and set through the gold cuvette.  Maker's mark "JWS" in an oval and number corresponding to that on the movement.
