Index No. A5622 Gold Half Hunter by Benson
An early 20th Century English lever by Benson in a gold half hunter case.  Gilt three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel spiral hairspring.  English table roller lever escapement.  Signed white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands.  Plain 18 carat half hunter case with blue enamel chapter ring, maker's mark "JWB" in an oval.  The case with single fixed back, the movement hinging from the front.
