Deep gold consular case, engraved bezels, the front set with a band of rose diamonds. The back with a polychrome enamel scene depicting two young children surrounded by a decorative border of rose diamonds. The engraved section of the
back simply pierced with slits to allow the bell to be heard. Diamond set pendant and bow. Gilt metal protective outer covered in shagreen with glazed back.
