Index No. A5615 Gold Keyless Fusee with up / down Dial
A fine large late 19th Century English freesprung reverse fusee lever with power reserve indication in a gold open face case.  Gilt half plate keyless movement with reverse fusee and chain. Harrison's maintaining power.  Plain cock with diamond endstone.  Compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. English table roller lever escapement, the escape wheel and lever under a bridge.  Screwed in jewelling, escape and lever pivots with endstones. White enamel dial with subsidiaries for power reserve and seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Very substantial plain 18 carat open face case, a large monogram engraved on the back cover.  Maker's mark "PW" in an oval. Number corresponding to that on the movement.
