| A rare early 19th Century German watch with automated dial in a nickle open face case. Enclosed movement with large central mainspring. Crown wind, the hands set by a thumb piece in the back. White paper dial, the coloured scene depicting three cyclists racing on "penney
farthing" bicycles. The leg of the cyclist in the foreground is attached to the arbor of the lever and moves when the watch runs. Arabic numerals, blue steel hands. Nickle open face case, the back and bezel decoratively machined. The fixed mainspring barrel is formed from the inner part of the case and is marked "Germany".
