Index No. N6189 Single Handed Pair Cased Verge By Quare
A late 17th Century English single handed verge by Quare in silver pair cases.  Deep full plate fire gilt movement with fine tulip pillars.  Fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel setup between the plates. Pierced and engraved cock, pierced and engraved foot.  Plain steel balance, silver regulator disc.  Signed silver champleve dial with Roman numerals, minute ring with five minute and quarter hour divisions.  Fine blue steel tulip hand.  Silver pair cases, the inner with split bezel, silver pendant and ring bow, later shutter to the winding aperture.  Five joint square hinge to the outer.
