A 19th Century fully jewelled English freesprung reverse fusee lever by Frodsham with power reserve indication in a gold half hunter case. Gilt half plate keywind movement with reverse fusee and chain. Harrison's maintaining power. Plain cock with diamond endstone, compensation balance with quarter timing nuts, freesprung double overcoil blue steel overcoil hairspring. English double roller lever escapement. Screwed in jewelling including the fusee, escape, lever and bottom seconds pivots with endstones. Signed and numbered white enamel dial with subsidiaries for seconds and power reserve, Roman numerals, blue steel half hunter hands. Plain 18 carat half hunter case with blue enamel chapter ring, two flysprings to the front cover. Initials on the inside of the back cover dated 1870, maker's marks "CF" in a rectangle and "RR" in an oval, number corresponding to that on the movement.
