| A late 18th Century Swiss pouzzait lever with centre seconds and calendar in a silver open face case. Full plate gilt keywind fusee movement. Large gilt sector shaped engraved cock with diamond endstone and blue steel regulator. Very large, slow beating plain five arm gilt balance with
blue steel spiral hairspring. Pouzzait lever escapement with small brass escape wheel and polished steel lever. Lateral steel stop lever acting directly on the balance. White enamel dial with centre seconds, subsidiary dials for date calendar and time chapter with Roman numerals, gold hands. Fitted in a purpose made engine turned open face case hallmarked London 1848.
