A late 18th Century English verge in a pearl set gold and enamel case with matching chatelaine. Full plate fire gilt movement with fusee and chain. Pierced and engraved cock, diamond endstone, silver regulator disc. Plain three arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. Winding through the fully restored white enamel dial, Arabic numerals, gold beetle and poker hands. Gold consular case the back with translucent purple enamel over a decorative engine turned ground. The bezels set with large split pearl. Matching gold and enamel chatelaine, the chain formed of two rows of gold and enamel rectangular links each separated by two pearls. The chatelaine with matching gold and enamel key, a stone set seal and two decorative bells with pearls.
