lever escapement, escape and lever pivots with endstones. White enamel dial with subsidiaries for seconds and power reserve, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Plain 18 carat open face case, wound and set through the gold cuvette engraved with the inscription; "Presented to D Dyer Brown MAMD by the patients of the homeopathic dispensary Aberdeen and a few friends as a token of their esteem on his leaving for London 24th November 1876". Maker's mark "J.W." in a
rectangle and number corresponding to that on the movement.
