| A fine Swiss lever gentlemans wristwatch by Vacheron and Constantin in a rectangular staybrite steel case. Keyless nickelled bar movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, uncut bimetallic balance with spiral blue steel hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Signed fully restored square cream dial with subsidiary seconds, Arabic numerals, blue steel hands. Attractive forties style rectangular staybrite steel two piece signed case, the strap attached under the pronounced bars above and below the dial. Unusual glass with pronounced curve. Black lizard strap with steel signed Vacheron steel buckle. | ||

| An attractive wristwatch of distinctive forties style. The unusual glass appears to be original and the Vacheron buckle has been retained. Staybrite steel was produced before stainless steel to resist tarnish and corrosion. |
