the text "Je Brule pour Vous". Pierced and engraved decorative plate, square to adjust the index visible under the two arm balance with a bob which oscillates like a pendulum. Fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel setup between the plates., Fully restored white enamel dial, small rectangular aperture revealing the gilt calendar ring, Roman and Arabic numerals, pierced gilt hands. Plain silver consular case a circular shutter covering the winding aperture.
