Index No. A6101 Gold Independent Seconds Lever Pocketwatch
A mid 19th Century Swiss lever with independent jump centre seconds in a gold open face case.  Keywind gilt bar movement with two suspended going barrels under separate bridges, the larger for the going train. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel arms and spiral hairspring. Club foot right angle lever escapement.  Fully restored white enamel dial with independent jump centre seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel seconds  hand, pierced gilt hands.  Engine turned 18 carat open face case with coin edge middle.  Chased and engraved bezels, pendant and bow, engine turned back with engraved floral decoration.  Wound and set through the engine turned gold cuvette inscribed with details of the watch, small gold slide in the band to control the independent centre seconds.
