Gold and Enamel Swiss Dress Watch

An early 20th Century Swiss lever in a gold and enamel dress watch with equine decoration. Small nickelled split three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Signed gilt and silvered metal dial with subsidiary seconds, Arabic numerals in circular cartouches, blue steel hands. Slim 18 carat open face case with ribbed middle. The broad bezels engraved and decorated with black champleve enamel. In the centre of the back a chased and engraved representation of two horses heads.
