| A rare early 19th Century double sided French verge with both six hour and twelve hour dials. Unusual full plate gilt movement with reverse fusee, the train running in the opposite direction. The crown wheel and verge made the reverse of normal also. Plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring
under the six hour dial. Pentagonal baluster pillars. Winding through the signed 12 hour white enamel dial with Arabic numerals, blue steel Breguet hands. On the other side of the watch the six hour white enamel dial, the Roman hour numerals with the hours seven to twelve in small Arabic numerals, Arabic numerals for the minutes at the edge, pierced gilt hands. At the edge of the dial a small hand to regulate the watch. The hands of the dials are set separately so that two
time zones can be shown. Plain silver case glazed on both sides, the movement fitted to a silver bezel which hinges out of the case.
