A mid 19th Century English fusee lever in a gold half hunter case. Gilt three quarter plate keywind movement with fusee and chain. Harrison's maintaining power. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, diamond endstone. Compensation balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. English table roller lever escapement, escape and lever pivots with endstones. Numbered white enamel dial signed "Arnold - Chas Frodsham", subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel seconds hand, gilt half hunter hands. Engine turned 18 carat half hunter case, ribbed middle, blue enamel chapter ring. Maker's mark "FM" in a rectangle and number corresponding to that on the movement.
