| A highly decorative watch. It is unusual to find three parts of a watch with decorative scenes. In style it would appear to be Dutch and about thirty years earlier than the date of the London hallmark. This may be due to watches of unchanging design continuing to be imported for many years or the case being assayed at a later date. In fine overall condition; the damage to the horn covering is not serious and very much less than would be expected for a watch of the period. |
