| A 16th Century German table clock case with a later purpose made verge alarm movement. Deep full plate movement with turned baluster pillars. Fusee and chain with ratchet and click barrel setup between the plates. Solid bridge cock with polished steel coqueret Plain gilt balance with spiral hairspring, gilt
regulator disc with blue steel hand. Alarm train with contrate wheel and verge, the semi-circular, double ended hammer striking a large drum shaped bell which covers the movement. Engraved silver dial with Roman numerals, engraved central alarm disc, plain blue steel border, elaborate blue steel hands. Fine engraved drum shaped gilt case the sides with four pierced circular sections to allow the bell to sound. Original well engraved gilt base with apertures to wind the
alarm and going trains. Later brass bezel and three bun feet to the base.
