A mid 19th Century Swiss lever with independent seconds and dual time dial in a silver open face case. Keywind gilt bar movement with two suspended going barrels. Engraved cock with polished steel regulator,. Compensation balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Club foot lever escapement, the polished steel lever with long delicate counter-balance. White enamel dial with independent centre seconds, subsidiaries for two time zones and continuous seconds, blue steel hands. The left chapter of Roman numerals indicating the time. The right hand chapter of Arabic numeral showing the time recorded by the independent train. Unusual purpose made plain silver open face case, both trains wound and set through the clip on silver cuvette
