| An attractive large watch in excellent condition. Although Baillie lists the maker as working circa 1710 the watch bears features which had in general disappeared by this date. €The fusee square is a tapered hollow, fitting on a long arbor on the great wheel. €The balance spring is pinned with a square holed (slightly dovetailed in fact) stud and pin. € The worm to the barrel setup is closely cut. The watch has a very English appearance and apart from the name is indistinguishable. |
