Very substantial plain open face, hinged rear cuvette with apertures for wind and hand set, the movement also hinging out of the front. Unusually the front bezel is opened by depressing a small button concealed by the back cover. , maker's mark "IJTN" in a rectangle and number corresponding to that on the movement. The back of the watch inscribed "The property of the Caledonian Railway Co.
