A late 19th Century Swiss split seconds, minute recording lever chronograph in a silver full hunter case. Gilt three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Grained steel split seconds chronograph work above the plates. Engraved cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. White enamel dial with subsidiaries for seconds and minute recording. Split seconds chronograph, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Substantial plain silver full hunter case with a decorative heraldic device and motto on the front cover and a monogram on the back. Two gold chronograph buttons, disabled when the front cover is closed, gilt winding crown, number corresponding to that on the movement.
