Slide quarter repeating on two polished steel gongs. Signed white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. The phases of the moon are indicated through an aperture in the centre of the dial on a blue steel and gold disc. The other calendar indications can been seen by opening the sprung back cover, Gilt and silver dial under a glass, the days of the week and date shown by a single blue steel hand and the month in a rectangular aperture. chased and engraved 18 carat full hunter case, a vacant shield shaped cartouche on the front cover. Depressing the winding crown opens either the front or back cover dependant on the position of the bow.
