| An 18th Century English verge in gilt metal repousse pair cases with chatelaine. Full plate fire gilt movement with square pillars. Pierced and engraved cock, silver regulator disc. Fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel setup between the plates. Plain three arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring.
White enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, later gilt hands. Gilt metal pair cases, the outer decorated with a classical scene in chased and engraved repousse work. Matching cast gilt metal chatelaine with a chased and engraved scene similar to that on the case. Hinged buckle suspending two further cartouches. Also suspended from the buckle on short chains four hinged safety eyes with threaded collars. Attached to one is a later gilt shield.
