| A small early 19th Century gold hunter fitted with a later lever movement. High quality keyless gilt bar movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator. Compensation balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. White enamel dial with and Arabic numerals, blue
steel hands. Engine turned full hunter case, the clip on back engine turned with a vacant oval cartouche at the lower edge. The sprung front cover with later engine turning and a monogram at the centre, "G.H". Inside the front cover engraved in a semi circle: "Gabriele v. Bulow - Geb v. Humboldt - 1802 1887" . Hinged gilt cuvette signed by Vacheron & Constantin. A German book about the owner Gabriele v. Bulow - Geborene v. Humboldt which contains illustrations
(published in Berlin in 1916) accompanies the watch.
